Kolo Tourism Lodge is located in Kolo Village, Asakota District, Bima City. Apart from being close to the city center, the atmosphere of Kolo Tourism Pondok is very cool with panoramic views of the sea.
There are several supporting facilities at Pondok Wisata Kolo, one of which is accommodation. The accommodation there is made by prioritizing local wisdom, namely uma lengge made from teak wood.
This Kolo tourist lodge has been managed by the Bima City Government (Pemkot) through the Tourism and Culture Service (Disparbud) for two years.
“It started operating in the last two years and now we continue to improve the supporting facilities,” said the Head of Tourism Marketing Division (Kabid) Bima City Disparbud, Buana Eka Putra, to detikBali, Sunday (19/5/2024).
Buana said there are many facilities prepared at Kolo Tourism Pondok, such as a meeting hall, tourist horse riding area and diving equipment rental. This place can also be used as a location for family gatherings and outbound events.
“Apart from that, there are several accommodation units for visitors, with a maximum of five people,” he said.
Buana explained that there are three types of places that can be rented to stay overnight. First, a stone cottage priced at IDR 250 thousand per night. Then, the second cottage costs IDR 350 thousand per night. Third, there is a tourist cottage with a price of IDR 450 thousand per night.
“This price includes the facilities at the Kolo Tourism Pondok. Inside the accommodation there are several rooms for staying overnight, a living room and a toilet,” he said.
Since it first started operating, said Buana, the Kolo Tourism Pondok has been visited by many visitors who come with their families. They stay between one day and two days. “It’s usually busy with visitors on weekends,” he said.
Buana said that visitors enjoy coming to Pondok Wisata Kolo because there are also various seafood culinary delights available around the location. Apart from that, they can also invite children to play on Kolo Beach with a clear sea panorama.
“It happens to be located near Kolo beach. So it’s good for beach trips with the family as well as sea fish culinary delights,” he said.
Route to Kolo Tourist Lodge
Visitors who want to go to Kolo Tourism Pondok do not have to travel far. The reason is, the distance from the center of Bima City is only 15 kilometers. The distance traveled by motorbike and car is only between 15 and 20 minutes.
Visitors coming from the Dara Terminal or Bima Harbor can take the road north. Throughout the trip, visitors will be treated to panoramic views of Bima Bay and tourist spots around the waters of Ule to Bonto.
Arriving at Kolo Tourism Pondok, there is an entrance board. Visitors can directly contact the management who is standing by at the front gate.
