Become a Casino City
Some tourism entrepreneurs recommend that the government consider turning Pattaya into Thailand’s first casino city. To do this, it is necessary to tighten security, cleanliness and improve public infrastructure in several areas of Pattaya.
Thailand is currently working on plans to legalize casinos as it looks to boost the country’s appeal as a tourist hub and attract billions of dollars in foreign investment and taxes.
China, India and Vietnam are among Pattaya’s biggest tourism markets by 2023. The area aims to attract 27 million visitors by the end of this year, both local and international.
